Discovery Academy is in Hattersley, Hyde in Tameside.
The Academy is a one form entry newly established school in a brand new building in the heart of the community. It is a targeted basic need school where the need was established by the local authority to manage an increase in pupil numbers locally and we worked with the local authority in the development and set up of the school. The Academy opened in September 2016 and in September 2019 it will have pupils across Nursery, Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3.
We are delighted to confirm that at the recent Ofsted Inspection in June 2019 Discovery Academy was rated Good across all areas.
