‘As a ‘great school in a great community delivering great outcomes for children’ Greenside Primary School is extremely pleased to have joined the ‘Victorious Academies Trust’ family of schools. As a community school we know that the Trust embodies our vision to provide a first class education for all of our children and shares our vision of inclusion for all. We look forward to working closely with the other schools in the Trust to deliver this vision for the wider community of Tameside and beyond.’ Judith Reynolds, Headteacher.

At Greenside Primary School they are committed to providing a first class education for every child.  Their vision is to:

  • Provide a culture of high achievement for all.
  • Provide a challenging and engaging curriculum for all.
  • Provide a high quality teaching and learning experience for all.
  • Provide a high quality learning environment for all.
  • Develop the confidence, independence and wellbeing of all.

They achieve this by providing high quality teaching to ensure all children learn, enjoy their time in school and succeed. A distinctive characteristic of their school is its friendly, supportive and highly inclusive atmosphere.

Their curriculum focuses on providing children with a broad and balanced curriculum that is rigorously underpinned by the basic skills of reading, writing and mathematics. They have a wide range of high quality resources and facilities including new technologies that they utilise in their teaching to ensure children gain a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience throughout their time at the school.

Their staff team are highly dedicated and committed to their pupils and they pride themselves on the high quality care, guidance and support that they provide.  Their pupils are at the heart of everything they do. They have a strong pupil voice and are proud of their children’s willingness and ability to make thoughtful contributions to their school community.
